EM Crystallography Core (Mark Yeager, Director; Barbie Ganser-Pornillos, Manager)

The EM Crystallography Core is located at The Scripps Research Institute in the Center for Integrative Molecular Biosciences building, which houses all of the necessary equipment is available for high resolution electron crystallography and single particle image analysis. The facilities are shared between dedicated users, including the laboratories of Ron Milligan, Francisco Asturius, and Mark Yeager. In addition, the Core lab will have access to the expertise, software and equipment of the National Resource for Automated Molecular Microscopy (NRAMM), directed by Bridget Carragher and Clint Potter. In particular, NRAMM has pioneered methods for automated electron cryomicroscopy and image analysis.
